World Rosary Day

At the invitation of the Holy Father Pope Francis, ” Rome, Saint John Lateran, 11 February 2022, Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Lourdes” we call upon the Confraternities of the whole world, especially Marian sodalities of the Holy Rosary, as well as Marian Congregations, Sanctuaries, Parishes and all Marian and Rosary prayer groups, Worldpriest Global Apostolate, Radio Maria and all people of good faith and good will, to unite in an extraordinary 24 hours of prayer for the 2025 Holy Year.

"I would greatly desire that we devote 2024, the year preceding the Jubilee event, to a great “symphony” of prayer. I ask the Blessed Virgin Mary to accompany the Church on the journey of preparation for the grace-filled event of the Jubilee."

"In questo tempo di preparazione, fin da ora mi rallegra pensare che si potrà dedicare l’anno precedente l’evento giubilare, il 2024, a una grande “sinfonia” di preghiera. Chiedo alla Vergine Maria di accompagnare la Chiesa nel cammino di preparazione all’evento di grazia del Giubileo."

On 7 October 2024, the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, we invite your Confraternity or prayer group, to come together at 7p.m. in your local time zone, and to pray at least five decades of the Holy Rosary.

Beginning at 7p.m. in Rome at Santa Maria Maggiore. This worldwide act of prayer will be a sign of hope to all nations, as we gather in prayerful preparation for the Church’s ‘Jubilee of Hope’ in 2025; and as we pray for peace among nations. Please join us in this Global Rosary for the Jubilee on 7 October 2024, at 7pm. in your local time. Registration is required for this event.
